Job Description
Job Title: Customer Services Manager
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Job Location: Cambridge - Bar Hill
Main Purpose of Role
To manage the Customer Service function within SGS – Cambridge Food Division to continue to provide industry leading and customer centric service.
Your role will provide leadership for the customer services and retail teams within the business, and provide our clients with professional and responsive service for queries and complaints, as well as providing a comprehensive technical advice and consultancy service.
Key Accountabilities
Leading the customer service and operational administration teams:
Ensuring that training and cross training is completed, documented and of a high standard
Management of staff absences and cover, as well return to work interviews
Recruitment of customer services and associated team members
Undertaking appraisals and performance management for the team
Management and development of processes and procedures used within customer services to make sure that both client and company needs are met, as well as ensuring compliance with relevant quality requirements.
Developing and review of customer focused KPI’s, highlighting and communicating trends and issues to stakeholders.
Qualifications
Essential
Experienced manager of leading multidisciplianry teams.
Effective interpersonal, teamworking and time management skills.
Experience of leading a successful customer services team.
Experience of managing change.
Full, current, valid UK driving licence.
Desirable
Scientific background
