Job Descrption
Document Manager, is responsible for maintaining organized and updated documents for a business. Their duties include using document management software to upload or scan paper documents, retrieving documents for authorized personnel and ensuring document storage to comply with laws and regulations.

Document Controller duties and responsibilities

In this section, outline what tasks your Document Controller will be expected to perform. Include required daily tasks as well as those that are less frequent but critical. You should also include how the Document Controller interacts with other members and parts of the organization. Common responsibilities for a Document Controller include the following:
• Assist the Project Manager during the audit and as needed.
• Prepare ad-hoc templates reports on projects as required.
• Process and control all project document types on a day-to-day basis in an accurate and timely manner.
• Ensure that quality documentation, such as documents, drawings, RFIs, and incoming and outgoing registers, is maintained.
• File documents in physical and digital records and ensure appropriate storage.
• Adhere to the company’s document lifecycle procedures, processes and as required by the Project Manager.
• Communicates changes to document control procedures or other relevant information to the project team in consultation with the Project Manager / Design Manager.
• Assists in implementing new and improving Document Management systems and document management processes.
• Train employees about the project documentation system on how to use and access the documents
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive documentation.
• Print and distribute documents as needed
• Scan and upload documents according to company procedure
• Collect and register all technical documents such as drawings and blueprints in the company’s system
• Review and update documents for maintenance and quality control
• Keep other personnel updated on new document versions and how to obtain access
• Handle records across various departments
• Create templates for use by other personnel
• Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive documents
• Establish and maintain record retention timelines

Skills Required for a Document Controller
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented as well as organized, and multitasker
• Time management skills
• Ability to follow company procedures
• Can work independently without much guidance
• Ability to engage and communicate effectively (written and verbal) with stakeholders at all levels
• Strong MS Office Skill set (Outlook, Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint)
• Document Control Management experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
