Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience exclusively in Interior Design estimating.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Fit-Out Estimator with over 5 years of Interior Design experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have specialized knowledge in estimating fit-out costs for interior design projects, including office, retail, and commercial spaces. A valid driving license and access to a personal vehicle are required, as site visits are an essential part of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare comprehensive and precise cost estimates for interior design and fit-out projects, covering materials, labor, and all related expenses.
• Review design plans, specifications, and site requirements to provide accurate cost assessments.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to gather detailed pricing information for required materials and services.
• Conduct site visits to assess conditions and collect data to inform estimations.
• Ensure all estimates align with client expectations, project timelines, and available budgets.
• Collaborate with project managers and interior designers to refine and update estimates as project details evolve.
• Provide clear, accurate cost breakdowns and detailed reports to clients and management.
• Monitor project budgets and make adjustments to estimates as necessary during the project lifecycle.
• Stay current with trends and pricing in the interior design industry to ensure competitive and accurate estimations.
Qualifications:
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating fit-out projects, specifically in Interior Design.
• Proficiency in interior design estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Expertise in interior design materials, methods, and industry standards.
• Strong understanding of building regulations and compliance related to interior design.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret interior design plans, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Valid driving license is required; owning a personal vehicle is preferred for site visits.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience working on high-end commercial or residential interior design projects.
• Strong relationships with interior design suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Knowledge of current market trends in interior design .
