We are a leading consulting firm in the UAE, recognized as one of the top 10 most promising consultants in the region. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Officer/Assistant- Taxation & Accounting / Audit Services to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing/supporting client assignments, with ensuring compliance, and delivering exceptional client service.
Role and Responsibilities:
As an Accounting/Taxation and Audit Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial operations. Your responsibilities will include:
• Assisting colleagues across different business areas for compliance purposes and preparing local tax returns accurately and on time, ensuring adherence to current tax laws and regulations.
• Supporting internal and external tax audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to audit inquiries.
• Processing invoice payments after performing a 3-way match, ensuring completeness of documentation, VAT compliance, and making accounting entries.
• Collaborating with the tax team to provide coverage during absences or additional support as needed.
• Staying updated with relevant tax technical regulations and ensuring compliance with UAE regulations.
• Providing assistance on ad-hoc projects and reports as required.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
Experience:
• 1-3 years of experience in Accounting, Tax, Audit services, or General Financial Accounting.
Skills & Knowledge:
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of UAE tax regulations and compliance requirements is preferred.
• Software Proficiency:Skilled in Tally, Zoho, ERP, QuickBooks, and other accounting software. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• A valid driving license is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
