Responsibilities
• Create a warm and welcoming environment for patients and pet parents
• Assist veterinary staff with various tasks and treatments as needed
• Answer multiline phone system, track, and book appointments effectively
• Place outbound calls to pet parents for follow-up
• Respond to and manage email correspondence with clients and veterinarians
• Admit and discharge pet patients
• Handle invoicing/billing and process payments
• Maintain cleanliness of reception and common areas
Qualifications
• Previous experience in customer service or a veterinary environment is an asset
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Willingness to learn about veterinary services and medical procedures
Education Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in veterinary services is a plus.
