Hot Dogs Grooming is a salon based in Hackney, East London. We are looking for an experienced, customer focused, friendly dog groomer and stylist with the skills to work with our head groomer to transform our lovely pooches into gorgeous hot dogs! This is a flexible role that can either be full time or part time. There is also the opportunity to work some Saturdays. PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE A QUALIFIED DOG GROOMER

The role will include:
• Assisting in day-to-day running of the salon
• Grooming and styling toy, small, medium and large dogs to a high standard
• This active role includes but is not limited to clipping, styling and scissor work on a variety of breeds
• Responsible for driving sales in the salon
• Identifying any necessary improvements that may be needed and implemented within the salon
• Maintain exceptional Salon Store Standards across all customer facing and back of house areas
• Delivering high standards of customer service
• High level of housekeeping and... maintenance of equipment

Essential skills needed:
• At least 1 year proven experience of dog grooming to a high standard
• A confident and positive approach to handling dogs
• Excellent customer service skills with a desire to get to know our customers and their pets. This includes building strong relationships with both the doggos and their owners, they both mean a lot to us!
• A positive, supportive and strong team player
• Must bring high levels of positive energy to the business
• Reliable and driven
• Able to work under your own initiative
• Exceptional communication skills
• Desire to pass grooming and styling knowledge onto trainee and junior stylists
• Hands on approach and can do attitude is a must
• Lastly, up for a good time!

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From £15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
