Full job description
Overview:
Think are looking for a mid front end WordPress developer to join our friendly, hardworking and growing team, delivering WordPress websites for some of our fantastic clients.
A minimum of 3 years agency experience to be considered.
You will be an WordPress developer looking to take the next step in your career, working onsite at our award winning creative agency in Whitefield, Manchester.
Day to day you will be working within the team to build custom WordPress themes, and liaising with the creative director and studio manager to ensure the websites are delivered on-time and to a high standard.
You’ll have a lot of experience in developing custom WordPress interfaces with HTML CSS and JavaScript, plus the following:
Responsibilities
• Developing, and testing UI for mobile and web applications
• Build reusable... code and libraries for future use
• Accurately translate user and business needs into functional frontend code
Qualifications/Skills
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science
• 3 year agency experience in frontend development
• Use of Advanced Custom Fields
• WooCommerce Experience
• Experience building object oriented web applications in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, PHP
• Knowledge and use of SASS/SCSS.
• Experience of working either agency or client-side as a WordPress Developer.
• Knowledge of GIT/Bitbucket.
• MUST be willing to work in the office.
