Job Descrption
We are a leading supplier of specialist software for the traffic and highways industry. We have council and government contracts all across the UK and have been trading over 20 years.
Our business is currently expanding due to growing opportunities within the sector and we are looking for a strong Frontend Developer with around 2-4 years experience, that also has a passion for design (see job description for more info about this).

About the design aspect of the role
We understand that as a skilled frontend developer, design may not be where you excel. Most of our development team contributes in some way, big or small to our user interface design. We are not looking for a highly skilled product designer, but we do expect you to have an understanding of Figma or similar tools and... also enjoy working with user interface design elements.
The more you are into the design aspect of the role, the more you can contribute. As a minimum for this role however we are looking for someone that is happy to spend 70% of their time in frontend development work and 30% contributing to the design of our products.
About you
The ideal candidate will be located in or around London and willing to travel to our office 3 days per week by Hammersmith roundabout. At the start of your role with us, you may be expected to visit the office 5 days per week while we complete your onboarding.
• Degree in Computer Science or similar/reltaed
• 2-4 years working as a frontend developer in a commercial environment
• Familiar with a leading Javascript framework (preferably Vue.js or similar)
• Passion for coding, design and development
• Good English written and verbal communication skills
Essential Skills
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, Javascript
• Experience with at least 1 modern Javascript Framework
• Understanding UI/UX principles and best practices
• Familiar with Figma or similar tool
• Knowledge of frontend testing frameworks
• Experience with responsive and mobile-first design
Benefits
• The salary on offer varies between £35,000 to £45,000, depending on your experience.

• 35 Days annual leave (28 plus 7 national holidays)

• Stage 3: You will be invited into the office to meet with our CTO and team leads to discuss your design and for you to learn more about the company, and us about you.
