Job Descrption
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Fire Protection Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and compliance of fire protection systems within various facilities. You will play a crucial role in assessing fire risks, designing effective fire protection systems, and implementing safety measures to safeguard lives and property.
Responsibilities
• Conduct thorough assessments of existing fire protection systems and identify areas for improvement.
• Design and build customised fire protection systems tailored to specific facility needs.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure fire safety regulations are met during construction projects.
• Perform regular inspections and maintenance of fire safety equipment, including alarms, sprinklers, and extinguishers.
• Develop and implement fire safety training programmes for staff to enhance awareness and preparedness.
• Stay updated on current fire... codes, standards, and best practices to ensure compliance.
• Prepare detailed reports on findings from inspections and assessments, providing recommendations for enhancements.
Qualifications
• A degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Safety Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in the design and implementation of fire protection systems is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of relevant fire codes, standards, and regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex situations effectively.
• Strong communication skills to convey technical information clearly to non-specialists.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Certification in Fire Protection or Safety Management is an advantage.
