This role is specifically within DnA, a division of SOCOTEC. We are currently looking for a Level II Structural Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Field Engineer who can perform NDT using Ultrasonic and Magnetic Particle Testing with at least 5+ years of experience.
Responsibilities:
- Performing structural inspections for various jobs in the NYC Area.
- Performing Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) using UT and MT. Equipment provided
- Write and submit reports within 48 hours of inspections.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in the engineering or 5+ years as a Structural NDT Field Engineer required
- Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Level II – Can be company certified or ASNT. We can certify them with our Level III.
- Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) Tech Level II
- CWI or ICC Structural Welding/Bolting
- Preferred Qualifications
- Dye Penetrant Testing (PT)
- College Degree in Engineering or Architecture.
- ACI or ICC Concrete Special Inspector
- ICC Spray fireproofing.
- ICC Masonry
- OSHA 30
- Suspended Scaffolding Card
