Telecommunications Tutor – London EC 1
Are you passionate about teaching and looking to inspire the next generation of telecoms professionals? Our client, an established training provider delivering accredited courses since 2011, is seeking Telecommunications Tutors to join their growing, friendly team.
About the Role:
As a Telecommunications Tutor, you’ll deliver telecoms courses covering various topics, such as copper installations and fibre splicing. You’ll work with adult learners over an 8-week course, teaching BTEC Level 2 and/or 3 in IT and telecommunications. This is an on-site role, based in the London training centre.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking tutors with strong classroom management skills and the ability to deliver engaging, interactive sessions. You should have hands-on industry experience in telecommunications, particularly in copper installations and fibre splicing, to share real-world insights that inspire and educate learners. We would also be interested... in speaking with individuals who have experience working in an internal training capacity and have expertise in copper installations and fibre splicing.

• Ability to deliver engaging, interactive sessions that keep learners motivated and invested in their learning journey
Qualifications:
We’re ideally looking for qualified tutors with experience delivering telecoms courses. However, we’re also open to candidates with industry experience in copper installations and fibre splicing who may have trained others but don’t yet have a teaching qualification. Candidates may possess qualifications such as Award in Education and Training (AET), Certificate in Education and Training (CET), Diploma in Education and Training (DET), Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA), or PTLLS (Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector).
Salary:
• £35,000-£40,000 for tutors with experience of delivering accredited telecoms qualifications
• £33,000+ for trainee tutors with hands-on industry experience, or/and internal training experience, with support to gain relevant teaching qualifications

Pay: £33,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
