Job Purpose

The role of the IT Sales Specialist is strategically important to us. You will be responsible for supporting both Account Management and Business Development Teams in cross selling and upselling into an existing customer base and new logos, as well as finding your own opportunities through previous contacts, networking and internal/external lead generation.

The purpose of the role is to provide specialist thought leadership, consultation and solution recommendations to our customers, as well as acting as an evangelist for the Radius IT Services portfolio internally. The specialists will sell solutions to customers in a “business outcomes” led manner and will be able to articulate the benefits and comparisons of multi-vendors in a simple effective manner to ensure the Radius solution addresses the customer requirements and business objectives.

What will your day-to-day look like?
• Exceed monthly Gross Profit targets
• Develop a sustainable pipeline of qualified and ‘winnable’ opportunities
• Develop a strategic understanding of each opportunity, including: customer size, turnover, org chart, key stakeholders, objectives, decision making process and overall win strategy
• Engage with senior level contacts to deliver confidence in Radius' capability
• Positively promote wider Radius Connect and Radius Group product portfolio within all customer meetings
• Ensure company CRM is kept up to date at all times – close date, size of opportunity, sales cycle etc.
• Work closely with strategic vendors, and be fully aware of current/new product functions and features

What do we expect of you?
• Experience in selling solutions to SMB, CMM and Large Enterprise customers across multiple verticals
• Experience in selling IT Services, Managed Services, Cyber Security, Sharepoint, Exchange Migration, Microsoft suite of services (Azure, Office 365, Teams), Cloud, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery solutions
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft licensing options
• Demonstrate ability to self-generate opportunities
• Demonstrate ability to work in a team and with virtual cross-functional team members
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
• Strong Commercial acumen
• Excellent sales and communication skills
