Job Descrption
We are seeking a passionate and creative Florist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a flair for design and a love for flowers, with the ability to create stunning arrangements that meet our customers' needs. As a Florist, you will play a vital role in enhancing our customers' experiences through your artistic skills and knowledge of floral products.
Duties
• Design and create floral arrangements for Interflora orders, various occasions, including weddings and special events. We specilise in funerals
• Maintain the freshness and quality of flowers and plants in the shop.
• Assist customers in selecting floral products that suit their needs and preferences.
• Communicate effectively with customers to understand their requirements and provide excellent service.
• Organise inventory, ensuring that all floral supplies are well-stocked and displayed attractively.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the shop.
• Stay updated on current... floral trends and techniques to continually improve skills.
Qualifications
• Previous experience as a Florist or in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• A keen interest in gardening and knowledge of different flower species is beneficial.
• Ability to work well under pressure during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail.
• A creative mindset with an eye for colour combinations and design aesthetics.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends.
