Ready Mix Concrete Plant Manager at JRL Group

Job Descrption
Operate batching plant using Command Alkon to produce and dispatch concrete to high standards of accuracy. Ship concrete to ensure maximum utilization of trucks/workload. Ensure health, safety, and environmental rules are understood and followed on site. Manage and maintain stock levels. Oversee day-to-day operations of the plant and yardman. Maintain housekeeping to a high standard. Perform daily maintenance of the batching plant, along with defect reporting and management. Conduct slumping/flowing and testing of concrete as dictated by the technical department.
Requirements:
Willingness to work 50 hours per week, with overtime as required by the business and occasional Saturdays. Minimum of 2 years of experience required. Alkon experience preferred but not essential. Loading shovel ticket preferred but not essential.
