Job Description
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions are the backbone of any modern business, helping them integrate their core business processes in a unified platform and run their business in an efficient, scalable manner. ERP consultants operate at the intersection of the business and technology, enabling our clients to transform and optimise their businesses using ERP systems. As an Associate Consultant, you'll embark on an exciting journey of learning, growth, and hands-on experience in helping our clients overcome their business challenges using cutting-edge Oracle Cloud ERP solutions.
You'll be supported by the Early Careers Team and accredited providers to complete a 12-week hybrid training program. The program is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of Oracle Cloud ERP technologies and organisational concepts. During this period, you'll have the opportunity to meet mentors and Version 1 senior consultants who will teach you how to practically use new skills for a consultancy role. You'll also work with trainers to enhance your presentation and customer-facing skills. Additionally, Version 1 will fund industry-recognised Oracle certifications as part of our investment in you.
- You will be an integral part of our client-facing team, working closely with experienced professionals on some of the largest and most challenging projects in the industry.
- You will engage directly with our clients, to understand their business processes and obstacles and then proactively contribute to crafting an Oracle Cloud ERP solution that meets their needs.
- You will work within a team to problem solve, and use your growing knowledge and analytical skills to identify creative and effective solutions to our client’s complex hurdles.
- You will stay ahead of the curve by staying informed of the quarterly Oracle ERP Cloud updates, helping our clients understand the opportunities they present to maximise the value of their Oracle investment.
Additionally, as part of our commitment to your success:
First 12-weeks on Academy: you will receive a paid training contract, with a competitive salary whilst you train with us. Furthermore, over the first 18 months as Associate Consultant you will be eligible for performance-based salary uplifts:
- 6 months – 5% increase
- 12 months – 5% increase
- 18 months – 10% increase

We are proud to offer a highly effective, supportive, hybrid working model and require all associate members to work from our Version 1 Office 3 days each week. This means that you must be able to travel to our impressive Birmingham hub location, minutes from Birmingham New Street station. If you meet this requirement, please apply with confidence.
Our Digital Skills Academies would be great if you:
- Have received a university degree classification of 2:2 in any discipline OR a Level 5 qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business Information studies or similar.
- Love getting stuck into problem-solving and you don’t give up easily!
- Are passionate about learning
- Eligible to work in the UK/ Ireland AND are eligible for UK Security Clearance, you’ll be working on some exciting customer projects and you will be asked to apply for security clearance – for more information visit www.gov.uk/National security vetting: clearance levels
- Eligibility and willingness to travel across offices in the EU and UK to meet with our stakeholders and customers. (Travel Costs covered by Version 1)
