Job Description

As part of the Talent Acquisition team, you will be focused on identifying and attracting the right candidates for Version 1, while ensuring excellence in stakeholder & candidate experience. The role will partner closely with Workforce Planning, Talent Operations, the People team and leaders in our business.

Direct Candidate Recruitment and Partnership

  • Collaborate and build relationships with hiring managers and senior leaders, becoming a trustworthy and strategic partner for all key Talent Acquisition activities.
  • Help to develop and influence Talent Acquisition strategies.
  • Understanding of hiring demand fluctuations and nurturing of talent pipelines.
  • Provide partnership, assistance, and data-driven insights to your stakeholder team to deliver excellence.
  • Challenge traditional thinking such as ‘because this is the way we’ve always done it’.
  • Advocate for the development of strong diversity, inclusion and belonging practices across the business.
  • Provide clear and concise communication on all Talent Acquisition-related and/or relevant messaging.
  • Understand the requirements of technical roles sufficiently to attract and recruit appropriate candidates.
  • Identify passive candidates, and attract and partner with stakeholders to recruit them.
  • Manage an excellent candidate experience throughout the hiring journey. 

Continuous Improvement

  • Work to improve the recruitment process, CX and ways of working.
  • Investigate relevant Talent Acquisition metrics to proactively identify trends and key areas of focus to enhance the Candidate Experience / CX within the Capability. Ensuring execution and follow through of the subsequent Talent Acquisition-related programmes and initiatives.

Qualifications

Essential criteria

  • Experience in recruiting in Digital (Development), Data, Product or Portfolio/Project Management roles in the Technology Services Industry.
  • Comfortable leading small teams.
  • Experience in independently managing and running the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle from role inception to pre-boarding.
  • Understanding of the pace and ambiguity involved in hiring for a fast-growing tech services business.
  • Expert in using LinkedIn Recruiter and other online tools, as well as tapping into existing networks, to attract passive candidates. Boolean will come naturally and the ability to create complex search strings.
  • An interest in Talent Acquisition, recruitment best practices and willingness to support improvement programmes in the likes of the hiring process, candidate experience, sourcing, and DEI.
  • Well-organised, keeping excellent data hygiene in ATS and other systems, and knowing how to use data to influence.

Additional Information

This role will be known as a Talent Acquisition Capability Partner internally.

Location: This role can be delivered in a hybrid nature from one of these offices Belfast, Birmingham, Manchester, Edinburgh, London or Newcastle upon Tyne.
