Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Junior Manual Tester. No prior experience or degree is required for this position. As a Junior Manual Tester, you will receive comprehensive training to learn the fundamentals of software testing and quality assurance. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about technology and eager to kick-start a career in software testing.
Responsibilities:
- Learn and understand the basics of manual software testing.
- Execute test cases and test plans under the guidance of senior testers.
- Participate in identifying and reporting bugs, defects, and usability issues.
- Assist in documenting test results and communicating findings to the development team.
- Collaborate with team members to reproduce and troubleshoot reported issues.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of testing environments and test data.
- Embrace Agile methodologies to align testing activities with project timelines and goals.
- Proactively seek opportunities to learn and improve testing skills.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Strong IT skills
- Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing priorities.
- Eagerness to grow and develop within the role.
- Resident in the UK for five or more years with no more than 30 days per year out of the UK to meet Security Clearance (SC) eligibility or currently hold Security Clearance.

Location: This role can be delivered in a hybrid nature from one of these offices Dublin, Belfast, Birmingham, Manchester, Edinburgh or London.
