Job Description

Version 1 is a values-driven, fast-paced organisation on a significant growth trajectory. Our Global HR Ops team plays a pivotal role ensuring the smooth running of our core processes and procedures which are at the heart of the experience of our people and the success of our business. We seek a skilled and experienced HR Advisor to join our dynamic team.

The role will offer the successful candidate broad exposure and experience across a variety of HR streams in a variety of global jurisdictions (UK, Ireland, USA, India, Australia, Slovenia, and Spain) within a fast-paced results orientated organisation.

Role Responsibilities

  • First point of contact for any employee queries. The role will involve triaging queries to the HR team and will also deal with incoming queries directly. The main focus will be to improve employee experience by providing end-to-end HR solutions to solve any issues.
  • A primary focus of this role will be to manage the administration and coordination of the onboarding and offboarding process in Version 1, ensuring that these activities are correctly carried out in line with the organisation’s standards and accurately captured for payroll.
  • Support employee life cycle management processes such as personal data changes, employment changes (job title changes, part time requests etc.) and leave management in accordance with local legislation.
  • Design and recommend enhancements, improvements and simplifications of existing HR processes and procedures. Maintain and update HR System data as appropriate, ensuring the integrity of all HR data and GDPR compliance.
  • Provide effective general HR administration including generation of reports and issuing of employee letters and reference requests.
  • Processing background checks and right to work checks for new joiners and current employees/contractors.
  • Support the wider HR team with key HR projects, activities and other ad hoc duties as required.

Qualifications

Desired Experience and Approach

  • Degree or third level qualification in Human Resources or related discipline is beneficial but not essential.
  • CIPD qualification is beneficial but not essential.
  • Experience working with relocation and secondments is desirable, but not essential.
  • Global HR experience (outside of Ireland and UK) desirable, but not essential.
  • Experience working with multiple HR systems is desirable, but not essential.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development. CIPD Qualification would be beneficial.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proven organisational and coordination skills.
  • People focused, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong IT skills, with a knowledge of IT systems and processes.
  • Competent using Excel.
  • Ability to deliver high levels of performance and service excellence while managing high volume workload.

Additional Information

Location: This role can be delivered in a hybrid nature from one of these offices preferably Belfast, but could also be Birmingham, Dublin, Manchester, Edinburgh, Newcastle or London.
