PLEASE NOTE THIS ROLE WILL ONLY BE REQUIRED TO START IN JUNE 2024

This is a really exciting, varied and challenging role to join our People & Communications Integration Team. From planning and setting a communications strategy for each individual integration to getting to know the people and bringing them on that journey and managing change, this role will play a crucial part in all ongoing integrations at Version 1.    

You will need to be able to juggle competing priorities across multiple simultaneous integrations and key stakeholders, working with other Integration Consultants (Stream Leads) as well as key stakeholders from across the business.   

While this is a really exciting and high-profile role, it is not for the faint-hearted: there are continuous and significant challenges, pressure and change and you must be someone who adapts well to continuously changing priorities and deadlines that must be met. You’ll have a reputation as being calm in the face of pressure and someone who thrives on achieving outcomes in difficult circumstances.    

Your role: 

  • Work with the wider Integration team and key stakeholders on designing personalised integration communications strategies for our integrations and support the wider team with communication plans for various initiatives 
  • Champion our ethos while bringing a fresh perspective and a creative approach to managing communications across the organisation. 
  • Collaborate with different teams across the organisation with various senior stakeholders to understand what our priorities are and drive decisions forward 
  • Understand how our people want to be engaged with and how to get the most from our communication with our teams in new innovative ways

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in a Communications Manager or similar role within the technology or other related sector. Be able to showcase your ability of creating, distributing, and driving impactful communication for a dispersed, diverse internal audience. 
  • Extensive knowledge and practical application in developing internal communication strategies, internal communication channels, using communication tools and technologies, and understanding the impact of tone of voice. 
  • Established skills in operating in a large global organisation across various countries, time zones and cultures and be able to highlight how you’re aware of cultural sensitivities and adaptability to enable you to transfer seamlessly between diverse business groups and geographical cultures. 
  • You to be self-confident in your ability to build relationships and collaborate with individuals across varying levels of the organisation i.e., senior management stakeholders, employee groups, and business partners.  
  • Present care and attention to aligning communications across locations and teams, ensuring inclusivity in the language and messaging in both written and verbal formats.  

Additional Information

Location: This role can be delivered in a hybrid nature from one of these offices Dublin, Belfast, Birmingham, Manchester, Edinburgh or London.
