An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven, motivated and detail orientated individual to join the Medical Directorate at RNOH. The team has a varied and dynamic agenda, and the PA to the directorate plays a vital role in its delivery.

The post holder will provide support to the Chief Medical Officer, Associate Medical Directors and Operational Management Team in the delivery of the Directorate and trust wide clinical strategy.
It is desirable that the successful applicant has experience in similar roles but it is more important that they have excellent organisational skills. They should be able to work independently but also as part of the immediate team collaboratively with other teams across the Trust. They should have a commitment to the delivery of high quality, patient centred care, best staff experience and service improvement and transformation.
Key... responsibilities will include:
• General administrative and office based duties
• Support the Service Manager with day to day management of staff within the directorate comprising of medical, operational and administrative staff
• Rota coordination of the Tier 1 orthopaedic and on-call rotas including leave requests and management of sickness absence
• Recruitment of locally employed doctors and on-boarding of doctors in training posts
As far as is practical, the appointee will be expected to provide cover for colleagues when required in terms of planned and emergency absence. Training will be provided if required and the successful applicant will be supported to pursue a personal development plan appropriate to them.
