Are you passionate about events? Are you enthusiastic about making a meaningful impact on global women's health? This exciting opportunity offers you the chance to join the events and operations team of an international membership body; ISUOG. You will lead on planning and delivering programs for ISUOG's annual World Congress and other events, working directly with the ISUOG Scientific Committee and other international experts in ultrasound in obstetrics and gynecology.
Role responsibilities
The successful candidate will coordinate programs for ISUOG events, including running program planning/Commitee meetings, coordinating speaker/chairperson invitations and communications, managing the abstract submission/review/presentation/publication process, managing program systems, planning onsite program delivery, and ensuring continuous program evaluation and improvement. You will work closely with the rest of the events and operations as well as external... suppliers, to ensure the program is planned effectively pre-event and onsite, and contributes to the success of ISUOG events as a whole. You will also have responsiblity for ensuring Scientific Committee members, speakers, chairpersons, other volunteers and abstract presenters contributing to ISUOG programs have the best experience possible.
Role requirements
We are seeking candidates with an events and program coordination background, excellent communication skills, strong organisational skills and interest in academic/scientific program development.

Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full Time
Salary: £38,500 - £40,000 per annum dependent on experience, plus benefits.
Location: The role is based from ISUOG House, 122 Freston Road, London, W10 6TR. A hybrid working system is in place and the job holder will be expected to work from ISUOG House for a minimum of 2 days each week. Due to the nature of the role, the job holder may be required to work from the office more than 2 days a week.
Benefits include: 20 days’ annual leave per annum plus eight Bank/Public holidays (rising by 1 day per year for every complete year of service, up to an additional 5 days), together with 3 additional days over Christmas and New Year. 4% (matched) employer pension, rising to 6% on successful completion of probation. About the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ISUOG): ISUOG is a highly respected professional membership organisation across 140 countries, comprised primarily of clinicians who are ultrasound experts in the field of obstetrics and gynecology. The Society includes obstetricians and gynecologists, trainees, medical doctors, scientists, sonographers, midwives and other health professionals who work to advance women’s health and well-being globally.
