Two leading news sites sit within the portfolio, delivering hundreds of thousands of monthly impressions and significant revenue to the business.
With the support of the Group Digital Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will be part of a team of digital marketing specialists, dedicated and focused to being the best in digital marketing and will be the “digital champion” for their brand/products.
Working in collaboration with the brand marketing teams, the Digital Marketing Executive will be responsible for the best practice delivery across Email, PPC and Web Channels focusing on meeting the OKR’s and business goals set, communication performance, suggesting changes and implementing solutions.
Job Description
Tracking & Reporting
- Support brand marketing team with registration form set up, testing, tracking cross channel
- Report weekly on channel campaign performance, working with the brand marketing teams to utilise all data available to optimise campaigns and implement changes
- Set and report against digital micro and macro channel targets
- Feed into overall event strategy using data available
- Design and implement channel testing plans, setting clear hypothesis, goals and objectives
Web
- Maintain websites, working with Web team to support ongoing SEO, and support brand teams with front end website changes
- Build out tailored landing pages for campaigns and produce A/B test and optimisation plans to increase conversion rate
PPC
- Manage PPC campaigns working with Brand Marketing teams; write briefs, set targets, manage budget, track and report on analytics, manage creative design
- With the support of the Brand Marketing Team, manage paid media agency to ensure campaigns are fully optimised and delivering on target and on budget
Email
- Build out email campaign templates utlising standardisation and automisation to improve efficiencies and performance
- Working in collaboration with the brand marketing teams, build out campaign data plans, selection and segmentation for campaigns
- Support any data migrations
Social
- Responsible for maintaining the social media calendar, this includes collaborating with
Brand marketing team, content, and sales stakeholders to plan content, write tailored posts for each channel, create artwork/ video, post scheduling, and community management
Budget Management
- Work with the Brand Marketing team to set and manage budgets
Ideas and Innovations
- Develop an in-depth knowledge of the target audience, understand digital behaviours of the product audience, through continual testing and reporting
- Utilise Informa’s online learning library as well as supporting Marketing Performance Managers and other internal and external training to ensure best practices and channel/platform updates
- Keep up to date with the latest market, marketing and channel developments sharing findings with digital and wider marketing teams
