Informa Global Markets (IGM), the leading provider of real-time, independent market commentary and analysis, is seeking candidates to write insightful commentary, analysis and opinion pieces for a primarily front-office audience of demanding decision makers.
IGM is hiring a Junior Emerging Markets Analyst for its European team, based in London, as maternity leave cover with a fixed contract period.
The candidate will cover all aspects of EM financial markets, including foreign exchange, rates and credit.
A solid written and spoken command of the English language is essential. Pro-actively liaising with market participants and being able to write quickly in an accurate and dependable manner is also pivotal.
The ideal applicant should have a broad understanding of current economic affairs and preferably have some knowledge of Emerging Market characteristics/key themes. They should also be enthusiastic and willing to learn, work well within a team as well as independently, and be strongly motivated to shape their working experience and career inside our growing team.
