Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior AV Engineer to join our installations team in London. This position requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
• Install, configure, and maintain audio-visual equipment according to project specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand project requirements.
• Conduct site surveys to assess room layouts, infrastructure requirements, and potential challenges.
• Coordinate with other trades/contractors to ensure seamless integration of AV systems with existing infrastructure.
• Provide training and technical support to end-users on AV equipment operation and maintenance.
Experience
• Past experience in a senior position within AV, with a focus on boardroom and meeting room installations.
• Proficiency in installing and configuring audio-visual equipment such as projectors, displays... sound systems, microphones, and video conferencing systems.
• Strong understanding of AV signal flow, cabling, and connectivity standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Ability to supervise and provide training and guidance to junior members of the team.
• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for AV installations.
• Relevant certifications such as ECS/CSCS required and IPAF is a plus.
