Job Descrption
The Technical Authority for ROV & Survey supports the organization's work program by providing expertise in remote systems, ROV, and survey activities. The role involves maintaining the organization's global authority in these areas and contributing to the development of guidance and competence. This position supports the Lead Technical Advisor in providing technical guidance for offshore operations, inspection, and running technical committee meetings. Responsibilities also include contributing to the development of technical guidance documents, engaging with third-party organizations, and providing technical advice to management committees.
Key Aspects
• Attending and participating in ROV & survey related operations and workgroups.
• Assisting in the preparation and review of technical guidance documents.
• Consulting with third-party organizations and assisting in regional meetings.
• Providing technical advice to management committees and... membership.
• Championing health, safety, security, and quality policies.
• Traveling nationally and internationally as a representative at meetings and events.
Person Specification
• Degree qualified in a relevant field.
• Experience in ROV & Survey operations or similar technical roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer-based applications.
• Experience with survey equipment and techniques.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to engage with personnel at all levels.
• Committed to professional development and adaptable to changing business requirements
