Job Description
Key Position Responsibilities:
Receive and review new business inquiries from prospective clients provided through web forms; email and telephone.
Record inquiry and prospective client information in pertinent systems
Follow up on assigned leads by email and phone including determination of service needs and provision of quotations
Forward applicable leads to Strategic Accounts or Sales Supervisor for follow-up and resolution, if non-transactional
Work with operations on coordination of new sales and revision of existing sales
Follow Eurofins policies and procedures
Promote and provide consistent high-quality customer service
Report on KPI’s as they relate to open and closed sales, leads contacted, and new sales won
Support Eurofins promoted marketing initiatives with sales team and follow-up on identified opportunities
Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.
Make cold calls, as necessary
Essential Duties:
Applies good practices in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
Regular attendance and punctuality
Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
Maintain confidentiality and impartiality in all aspects of work and adhere to all procedures established by Eurofins and its auditing clients.
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Associates degree in food related or business/sales discipline
BS degree in food related or business/sales discipline (preferred)
Strong interpersonal skills that allow for moving comfortably in a business environment and to interface with all levels of customer and staff
Detail oriented with documentation
Self-motivated
Strong time management skills
Ability to work independently and efficiently
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Works well under pressure and handles adverse situations
Problem solving ability
