Job Description
Take direction from Team Lead
Communicate with the Team Lead/ Group Leaders to ensure Orders are ready on time.
Perform a variety of functions involved with shipping, receiving, storage of parts, materials, and products.
Monitor the Shipping Schedule for all changes.
Ensure the plants are sending the Shipping Program before 2pm
Ensure documents are turned into the front office clerk daily
Report any discrepancies on the program to appropriate plant
Report Damage material and discrepancies for inbound trailers to the appropriate plant
Ensure customer shipments are loaded in a timely manner to meet the window time
Ensure Post Goods have been sent through the system
Ensure the Shipping Board is up to date on the Monitor
Maintain the Issue Log on a daily basis
Regular participation in special tasks as assigned such as 6S.
Responsible for one's own work
Constant safety mindset necessary to prevent injury to others, due to inherent hazards. An accident, should it occur, would result in injuries of a partially incapacitating nature such as loss of a limb or eye, or severe health hazard.
OTHER WORKPLACE & PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Willing to be flexible in work schedule and hours. Sometimes the job requires staying later or working weekends to assist with operational issues.
Daily use of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of numbers including decimals and fractions; simple use of formulas, charts, tables, schedules, checking of reports, forms, records, and comparable data, where interpretation is required.
Use of safe lifting techniques while lifting, moving up to 50 pounds of product in elevated and/or difficult positions.
Frequent lifting and repetitive lifting
Direct work with chemicals and exposure to chemicals
Climbing on ladders frequently
Operation of loud machinery
Operation of any heavy equipment and/or tools, vehicles
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
Over 1 year up to and including 3 years relevant supply chain and warehouse experience
Good computer skills and keyboard proficiency
Valid OSHA certification of powered industrial truck such as Order Picker, Reach Truck, Pacer, Sit Down, etc...
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of two years of experience with MS Office software suite preferred (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Continuous attention to detail, usually repetitive work or diversified work
Self-motivated
Bilingual: English / Spanish
