Job Description
Provided design analysis support for new product development (PEP) projects, non-PEP customer projects, quality & cost- reduction tasks
- Determine schedule, budget, and deliverables for an analysis task within the given requirements in conjunction with other members of the Design Team.
- Organise resources to achieve the approved objectives. Monitor progress and proactively remove obstacles, highlighting major problems to the Management in time to avoid undue risk to task deliverables.
- Provide analysis technical leadership within Design Team, assisting with generation of design concepts, specifications and problem solving to achieve task targets optimally.
- Ensure consistent and correct implementation of Company procedures and methods, notably the methods of the Bosch Engineering System (BES). Ensure all necessary documentation is stored in a consistent manner, incorporating the principles of 5S, and readily available to the Design Team and Management.
- Provide task information such that progress, achievement of milestones and risks are tracked, with their status readily available to the Design Team and Management. Maintain cross-functional co-operation and information sharing to a high standard.
- Coordinate analysis tasks within design department, leading analysis team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s / Master’s in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline.
- Analytical and conceptual capabilities.
- Team working abilities.
- FEA experience with Ansys.
- Fatigue analysis experience with FEMFAT.
- Demonstrable communication, leadership and problem-solving competences.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office .
- Product knowledge and application know-how desirable.
Additional Information
You will be reporting to the Design Office Manager (EPR1) and would be required to work 37 hours per week.
