Job Description
Provided design analysis support for new product development (PEP) projects, non-PEP customer projects, quality & cost- reduction tasks
Determine schedule, budget, and deliverables for an analysis task within the given requirements in conjunction with other members of the Design Team.
Organise resources to achieve the approved objectives. Monitor progress and proactively remove obstacles, highlighting major problems to the Management in time to avoid undue risk to task deliverables.
Provide analysis technical leadership within Design Team, assisting with generation of design concepts, specifications and problem solving to achieve task targets optimally.
Ensure consistent and correct implementation of Company procedures and methods, notably the methods of the Bosch Engineering System (BES). Ensure all necessary documentation is stored in a consistent manner, incorporating the principles of 5S, and readily available to the Design Team and Management.
Provide task information such that progress, achievement of milestones and risks are tracked, with their status readily available to the Design Team and Management. Maintain cross-functional co-operation and information sharing to a high standard.
Coordinate analysis tasks within design department, leading analysis team.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s / Master’s in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline.
Analytical and conceptual capabilities.
Team working abilities.
FEA experience with Ansys.
Fatigue analysis experience with FEMFAT.
Demonstrable communication, leadership and problem-solving competences.
Proficient in Microsoft Office .
Product knowledge and application know-how desirable.
Additional Information
You will be reporting to the Design Office Manager (EPR1) and would be required to work 37 hours per week.
