We are pleased to announce a new apprenticeship, based in the Credit Control Department of our business at St Neots. This will give you the chance to gain experience and build up knowledge whilst taking responsibility for departmental tasks within all areas of Credit Control.

Job Description
During the course of the apprenticeship you will cover the full range of activities undertaken by the Credit Control Department in our small team in St Neots. This will include but it not limited to:
Matching and clearing credit and debit note contra-entries
Posting customer remittances and credit card transactions to the sales ledger and investigating unallocated amounts and deductions
Preparing and issuing monthly statements and dunning letters to meet agreed timetable
Tracking payment performance and chasing overdue accounts
Participating in the development of an effective credit management system
Recording disputed items, liaising with customers and colleagues to ensure the resolution of disputed accounts
Qualifications
qualified to A level standard or equivalent
excellent spoken and written standard of English
excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a sometimes pressurised environment
excellent MS Office skills
flexible approach to work
excellent prioritisation skills
keen to learn and able to drive own learning and development
able to deal with sometimes challenging behaviour
