Job Summary
We’re launching an exciting new media and tech company focused on the wonderful world of cooking!
We’re looking for someone to join as our first PR Manager. You will play a central role turning this fledgling company into a household name.
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement a ongoing public relations and media strategy designed to build the brand
• Build strong relationships with journalists, bloggers, media outlets, influencers, industry partners, and other key stakeholders to generate coverage
• Pitch stories, arrange interviews, and respond to media inquiries
• Create and oversee the production of press releases, media kits, newsletters, and other PR materials
• Create and implement PR initiatives and campaigns that take social media and SEO into account (improve organic search rankings and visibility), as well as traditional media
• Conduct digital PR outreach to secure high-quality backlinks from authoritative sources
• Organise and manage events and product... launches to generate media interest and public engagement
• Monitor, analyse, and report on PR campaign performance and media coverage to measure success and identify areas for improvement
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging PR opportunities to keep our strategies current and effective
Requirements
• 2+ years of experience in PR (agency or in-house)
• Experience in researching and running a Digital PR campaigns from scratch
• Proven success in increasing brand recognition
• Results-driven mindset with the ability to measure and analyse PR campaign effectiveness
• Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative PR strategies and content
• Strong organisation and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Expertise in press release writing, social media management, and content creation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, small team
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to develop industry relationships
• A passion for social media and its strategic opportunities.
• Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with social media management tools and Google platforms (Analytics, Tag Manager, Marketing Platform) as well as tools to track the effectiveness of PR campaigns especially on SEO (e.g. Ahrefs, SEMrush and Screaming Frog)
• Previously gained media coverage and has done link building (please us samples if you can)
Bonus requirements
• An interest in food / cooking
• Familiarity with graphic design and content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva)

Pay: £30,000.00 per year
