Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic-minded Senior Manager to join the Global Partnerships and Strategy team in a rotational role across key business units. This person will have the unique opportunity to work alongside and gain invaluable experience in Partnership Management, Partner Marketing, Business Development and Strategy and Business Operations. The role will begin with the Enterprise and Brand Partnerships team, and involve executing end-to-end partner programs, inclusive of development, launch support and ongoing management, including tracking performance and forming competitive analysis and research. This is a high profile, cross-functional role with touch points across Peacock and the wider NBCU business including Marketing, Product, Finance, Ad Sales, Legal, Operations among others. Upon successful completion of this rotational role, the incumbent will be placed in a non-rotating position within the department.

Responsibilities

Partner Marketing / Partner Management:

  • Coordinate Partner Marketing Initiatives: Scale, nurture, and optimize partner marketing campaigns and initiatives to drive innovative co-marketing opportunities for Peacock, identifying incremental, mutually beneficial opportunities to grow partnerships.
  • Collaborate with internal marketing teams to create compelling messaging and supporting assets for use across various channels, including digital, social, and traditional media.
  • Analyze Partnership Performance: Monitor and analyze key performance metrics and partnership KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of partnership initiatives and campaigns. Contribute to regular reports and insights to senior leadership to inform decision-making and optimize strategies for maximum impact and ROI.
  • Manage Partner Relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact for external and internal partners and cross functional teams, fostering strong and collaborative relationships to drive mutual success. Coordinate ongoing communication, support, and partnership activities that drive growth and engagement of Peacock.

Business Development:

  • Serve as support or primary lead for Distribution Partners, inclusive of Device and MVPD, focusing on continued subscriber and revenue growth.
  • Evaluate and assist with negotiations ensuring partnership agreements are structured to maximize value and mutual benefit for all parties
  • Support valuation and forecasting for various Peacock partner opportunities inclusive of coordination with Product and Marketing teams.

Strategy:

  • Identify and develop strategies and new business opportunities for Peacock focusing on the medium and long-term timeline; build consensus and mobilize towards execution in collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify new partnership opportunities and marketing strategies. Leverage market insights to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge in the market.

Business Operations:

  • Work cross-functionally across Peacock, DTC and wider NBCUniversal teams to ensure flawless execution of broad and impactful projects
  • Serve as an internal consultant to integrate strategy, process, technology, and information that advances effectiveness, reduces costs, and increases value for the organization

Qualifications

  • 7+ years experience in Partnership Management, Partner Marketing, or Business Development and Strategy.
  • Strong interest and/or experience in the media industry, specifically in streaming video
  • Problem solver with a knack for seamless execution
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex information, and present succinctly to executives and stakeholders at all levels
  • Creative mindset with a passion for innovation and delivering exceptional user experiences.
  • Team player who enjoys both working independently and values being part of a unit
  • Strategic thinking with strong intellectual curiosity
