Your mission:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Engineering Manager to lead our DevOps team. In this role, you will manage a team of highly skilled DevOps engineers across multiple locations and drive the strategy for automating and securing our cloud infrastructure at scale. You will be responsible for fostering a culture of collaboration between development and operations teams while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable services.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage a geographically distributed team of DevOps engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
• Drive the development and automation of cloud infrastructure, ensuring it is scalable, secure, and highly available.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to streamline processes, foster cross-functional collaboration, and ensure the seamless integration of DevOps practices.
• Ensure the security and fault tolerance of systems by implementing best practices and monitoring compliance with industry standards.
• Oversee the use of infrastructure management and CI/CD tools ensuring efficient automation of provisioning and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with leadership to align DevOps strategies with overall business goals and technical roadmaps.
• Lead the incident response process, ensuring quick resolution of infrastructure issues and continuous improvement of processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
• Experience leading geographically distributed teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across time zones.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and experience with infrastructure management tools such as Terraform.
• Experience in implementing and maintaining secure and fault-tolerant cloud infrastructure.
• Proven ability to manage and mentor teams, driving performance and collaboration across departments.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between development and operations teams.
• Fluency in Russian is required for effective communication within the team and across the company.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong understanding of security best practices in cloud environments, including IAM, encryption, and compliance standards.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitLab CI.
• Solid understanding of containerisation and orchestration technologies, such as Kubernetes.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus) for maintaining infrastructure health and performance.
• Experience operating services in colocation or on-premise data centres.
It’ll also be an advantage if you have experience in:
• Finance experience or knowledge of Trading
• Knowledge of TradingView 😁
