Your role
This Maternity cover role will be as a Senior Project Director you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful delivery of large-scale projects and programs across our organisation. This role involves heading up the Diageo account and some of other alcahol accounts. You will provide strategic leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and priorities, while overseeing project financial management and accounts, production efficiency and maintaining the highest standards of health and safety.

This is a very exciting role - covering everything from NPD, multi sensorial events, global toolkits, serve strategies product launches – UK and global

Responsibilities
Lead the strategic planning and execution of key client accounts, working closely with internal teams to align with client objectives and drive business growth.
Serve as the primary point of contact for... senior-level client stakeholders, building and maintaining strong relationships based on trust, collaboration, and results.
Drive revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling initiatives, identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts and developing innovative solutions to meet client needs.
Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of multiple projects and programs within the organisation, with a focus on optimising project financial performance and health and safety standards whilst ensuring alignment with project and organisational goals.
Provide strategic direction and guidance to clients, project managers and teams, ensuring adherence to project management best practices and standards, with a particular focus on efficiencies, financial management and health and safety protocols.
Lead the management of risks and H&S across all project phases ensure any H&S implication is considered and managed effectively, being an advocate for best practice and advisor to internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with senior management and key stakeholders to define project portfolios and priorities, and allocate resources, accordingly, considering financial constraints and objectives.
Monitor project financial performance and key metrics and take corrective actions as necessary to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints and financial goals to ensure project success while minimising production disruptions and safety incidents.
Serve as a liaison between project teams and finance and accounting departments, facilitating effective communication and collaboration to ensure alignment of financial objectives with project goals.
Serve as a mentor and coach to project management staff, fostering their professional development and growth in areas related to project management and health and safety practices.
Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project management frameworks of the organisation, with a focus on enhancing project efficiency and safety standards organisation wide.
Be a champion for the systems and standards used by the organisation within the project management framework, promoting a culture of innovation and health and safety practices.
Prepare and present regular project financial reports and updates to senior management and executive leadership, providing insights into project financial performance and variance analysis.

Skills and Qualifications
Experience working on alcohol accounts/brands
Extensive experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully leading large-scale projects and programs while optimising production processes and maintaining high standards of health and safety compliance, while effectively managing project finances and accounts.
Strong leadership and strategic planning abilities, with the capacity to drive organisational change and transformation while prioritising production efficiency and safety performance.
Strong financial acumen and understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Excellent leadership and strategic planning abilities, with the capacity to drive organisational change and transformation while optimising project financial performance.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with a commitment to fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and software
