Job Descrption
• *Production Manager Responsibilities:**
• *Workshop:**
- Oversee the daily tasks of joinery workshop staff to ensure project delivery, installation timelines, and completion goals are met.
- Coordinate the production and acquisition of subcontracted items, including metal, stone, and glass elements.
- Collaborate with the design team on manufacturing techniques and best practices.
- Order project-specific materials and maintain an efficient stock of consumables.
- Ensure all workshop activities comply with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
- Manage maintenance and servicing of machinery and tools.
- Organize deliveries and collections of tools and furniture to and from sites.
- Prepare sample materials for client... approval.
• *Site Installation:**
- Maintain daily communication with Client Site Managers on site operations and requirements.
- Conduct regular site visits to evaluate access, working conditions, and coordinate deliveries.
- Attend client program and site meetings as needed.
- Supervise site fitter activities, including toolbox talks, productivity, and adherence to budgets.
- Ensure all site operations comply with health and safety regulations.
- Organize the delivery of furniture and tools, and address any missing or damaged items.
- Oversee contractors and agency site fitters.
• *Key Skills Required:**
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Production Management or Supervision.
- Comprehensive knowledge of bespoke joinery fabrication and installation.
- Proficient in spoken English.
- Skilled in bespoke furniture installation and manufacturing.
- Proficient with computers and able to read and interpret CAD drawings.
- Experience managing teams of fitters, workshop staff, and subcontractors
