Job Title: Corporate and Event Sales Coordinator

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic Corporate and Event Sales Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Events and supporting the Catering Manager, this role plays a critical part in driving corporate sales and event bookings while assisting with the operational and administrative aspects of events. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building relationships... within the community, promoting our world-class venue, and increasing corporate and event sales. A passion for hospitality, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment are key.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Community Outreach:
· Engage local businesses and the community to promote 100 Kellogg Lane as the premier destination for corporate and private events.
· Represent the venue at networking events, trade shows, and other outreach opportunities.
· Build and maintain relationships with key clients, event planners, and corporate partners.
Event Sales & Planning:
· Coordinate and manage event inquiries, proposals, and contracts, ensuring smooth communication from initial contact to event execution.
· Assist the Catering Manager with food and beverage aspects of events, ensuring clients’ needs are met.
· Collaborate with the events team to ensure all details are properly organized and executed.
Business Development & Marketing:
· Generate leads for new business by researching local markets and developing partnerships.
· Achieve and exceed sales goals through proactive outreach and creative marketing initiatives.
· Implement strategies to attract new corporate clients and increase event bookings.
Administrative Support:
· Assist in maintaining accurate event documentation, contracts, and invoices.
· Support with event logistics and ensuring all internal processes run smoothly.
Qualifications:
· Proven experience in sales, corporate outreach, or event coordination, preferably in a hospitality or event setting.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with clients and partners.
· Ability to multitask and manage several projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
· Creative thinker with problem-solving abilities and a passion for event planning.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software is an asset.
· Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required.
