As the Head of Supply Chain, you will manage and lead the activities of the Supply Chain department, working with a small team of two to achieve goals while balancing service, cost, and inventory objectives. This role is ideal for someone who is either ready to take the next step up in their career or has previous experience as a Head of Supply Chain in a smaller organization. The Supply Chain team is a key function in delivering the products our customers know and love. We... work end to end with key internal stakeholders, plus our factories, freight providers, and 3PL partners to ensure the smooth flow of goods and optimal inventory management across all of our geographies. You will work closely with the Product Development Team to deliver new products to market, and we own demand and supply planning to ensure that all of our vendors and retailers have inventory to sell, whilst keeping tight controls on landed costs.
Oversee supply chain operations, including supplier relationships for PO management, cost management, lead time and order fulfillment (DTC and B2B)
You will be responsible for managing relationships with third-party logistics providers. This includes negotiating contracts and service level agreements, monitoring performance metrics, and ensuring that logistics operations are running smoothly and efficiently
COGS and Gross Margin management: analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) and data related to supply chain is essential. This will help you identify areas for improvement, track overall performance, and make data-driven decisions to optimize procurement processes
You are skilled in using data analysis and comfortable with excel and google complex formulas. You can independently gather, organise, and analyze data, identify trends, and provide thoughtful recommendations to enhance supply chain performance.
You have experience in managing PO, inventory planning & stock management in a retail setting.
You have experience in managing fulfilment and logistics operations for a consumer goods/retail start-ups with £10+million sales revenue
You have excellent organisational and project management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
