For our subsidiary COSCO SHIPPING Logistics (UK) Limited, located in London Gateway, UK, we are looking for an experienced

Seafreight Clerk (m/f/d).

Key... Responsibilities:

Receive documents and shipment notifications, and reference jobs within the forwarding system (e.g., Datafreight).

Provide correspondence to customers using the appropriate communication methods. Liaise with suppliers through suitable communication channels.

Manage payments to shipping lines.

Arrange releases with shipping lines and coordinate transport.

Collect Duty/VAT funds for non-account customers.

Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as needed.

What We're Looking For:

Experience with Port Community Systems (Destin8 /CNS) is desirable but not essential.

Strong skills in MS Office, with intermediate-level proficiency in Excel or higher.

Must have own transport due to the location and nature of the role.
