The Cafcass Internship offers a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about supporting children and families during court proceedings. Interns will gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment, assisting with casework that influences the lives of families across the UK. • Assist in gathering and analyzing information to provide recommendations to the court concerning the welfare of children.
• Support Family Court Advisors in their daily tasks, including attending court sessions and meetings.
• Engage with children and families to understand their needs and perspectives, ensuring their voices are represented in court.
• Help prepare reports and documentation required for court proceedings.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance understanding of family law and... child protection policies.
• Currently enrolled in or recent graduate from a degree program related to social work, psychology, law, or a related field.
• Strong interest in child welfare, family dynamics, and the legal process.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children and adults.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on experience in family court advisory and support services.
