Job Descrption
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Gardener to join our team. As a Gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the beauty of our gardens and landscapes. If you have a passion for plants and enjoy working outdoors, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Duties:
- Plant, cultivate, and maintain flowers, shrubs, trees, and other plants
- Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruning shears, and hedge trimmers
- Operate power tools and equipment such as lawn mowers, leaf blowers, and chainsaws
- Trim and prune trees and shrubs to maintain their shape and health
- Irrigate plants using hoses or sprinkler systems
- Apply fertilizers and pesticides to promote plant growth and prevent diseases
- Weed gardens and remove debris to maintain a clean and tidy appearance
- Perform groundskeeping tasks such as mowing lawns, edging borders, and clearing walkways
- Assist with landscape maintenance projects as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience in... gardening or groundskeeping
- Knowledge of plant care techniques and horticultural practices
- Familiarity with hand tools and power equipment used in gardening
- Ability to identify common plant species and diagnose plant diseases or pest infestations
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
Please note that all positions at our company are paid positions.
Job Types: Freelance, Zero hours contract
Pay: £13.60-£17.60 per hour
