The Role
As a Senior UI/ UX Designer, you will use your expertise to deliver a world-class user experience to our players. Your role is not just important but integral to our success.
Responsibilities
• Build a UX strategy for Landmark’s games, helping to shape the UX vision in collaboration with our Design team
• Create and iterate on the player experience across the entire game, ensuring players have a... clear understanding of the game's core loops, meta, and economy.
• Create working prototypes using tools like Figma, to demonstrate the UX to the team and gather actionable feedback from external playtests.
• Establish a UI style that perfectly suits the game's theme and audience and create high-quality, game-ready UI assets.
• Oversee the importing of UI assets into Unity and configuration for mobile performance
• Add motion, VFX, and other enhancements to the player experience to create an experience that players won't want to put down.
To excel in this role
• At least five years of experience in UX or UI roles within the games industry
• An expert in what creates a great player experience and how to deliver on the expectations of a modern mobile game experience.
• Proficient in crafting high-quality UI elements and implementing them efficiently into the game.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment where flexibility, initiative, and the ability to wear multiple hats are essential.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly present complex ideas and designs to stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities to tackle design challenges in live service games.
• An expert in Figma (or similar)
Nice to have
• Experience and understanding of Unity UI (uGUI) and the ability to integrate UI independently
• Experience working with a games-as-a-service product and modern mobile live-ops
• A passion for mobile games and a keen interest in UI/UX trends & methodology
