Henderson Brown is delighted to be partnering exclusively on an exciting new opportunity due to an internal promotion. Our client a highly respected international business are seeking a talented Finance Analyst to join the team, focusing on overheads and corporate accounting. In this critical role, you will ensure that overhead spending across the UK is effectively understood, challenged and managed.
Key Responsibilities but not limited to:
• Lead the forecasting, budgeting, cost tracking, and reporting processes for overheads.
• Provide regular and ad hoc financial analysis on overhead spending to key stakeholders.
• Offer financial support on all overhead-related projects and drive cost-efficiency initiatives.
• Continuously seek out and challenge opportunities to reduce overhead costs.
• Review and follow up on monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Collaborate with tax and finance teams to... ensure timely and accurate external financial reporting.
• Work closely with the Shared Service Centre and business stakeholders to ensure processes are adhered to and KPIs are met.
• Support the UK Finance Manager on audits, finance projects, and ad hoc responsibilities as needed.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
• Part-qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• Strong ability to analyse and work with large datasets (advanced Excel skills required).
• Proven ability to communicate financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial audiences.
• Experience in collaborating with and challenging senior stakeholders.
• Process-driven with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
• SAP experience or familiarity with similar systems is highly advantageous.
• Prior experience in a similar role is a plus.
