Job Descrption
Key Responsibilities
• Lead engaging and informative walking food tours in various London neighborhoods such as Borough Market, Camden Market, Soho, Chinatown, Covent Garden, and Shoreditch.
• Share interesting facts and stories about the history, culture, and food of each area.
• Introduce guests to a variety of food stops, including independent restaurants, popular eateries and food trucks.
• Ensure guests have a memorable and enjoyable experience, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
• Coordinate with local food vendors and manage tour logistics to ensure... smooth operations.
• Promote additional tours and services offered by Underground Food Tours.
• Collect guest feedback and provide regular reports to the management team.
Qualifications
• Strong passion for food and a deep knowledge of London’s culinary scene.
• Excellent storytelling and public speaking skills.
• Friendly, outgoing, and approachable personality.
• Ability to engage and entertain diverse groups of people.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
• Previous experience in guiding tours, hospitality, or a related field is a plus.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays.
