Travel/Tour Executive
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel/Tour Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the travel industry, specifically in working with Global Distribution Systems (GDS), and a passion for delivering exceptional travel experiences. You will be responsible for managing holiday bookings, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring that clients receive the best possible travel solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle client inquiries regarding flights, hotels, transfers, and complete holiday packages.
• Book flights, hotels, and travel products using GDS systems (Sabre, Galileo, Amadeus).
• Provide expert advice on travel destinations, including options for accommodations, tours, and other related services.
• Create personalized travel itineraries based on customer preferences and budgets.
• Ensure all travel bookings comply with the company's policies and industry regulations.
• Resolve customer... issues and complaints with a customer-focused approach.
• Collaborate with airlines, hotels, and other suppliers to get the best deals and solutions for clients.
• Assist clients with travel documentation, such as visas and insurance, ensuring they have a seamless travel experience.
• Manage customer relationships through timely follow-ups and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Keep up-to-date with travel industry trends, including new destinations, services, and promotions.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a travel agency or airline.
• Strong proficiency in using GDS systems (Sabre, Galileo, Amadeus).
• Experience in selling holiday packages, including hotels, transfers, and ancillary services.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong customer service orientation with a proven track record of managing client relationships.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of travel documentation requirements, such as visas and insurance, is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with global travel destinations, particularly in regions such as the USA, Canada, Dubai, Singapore, Thailand, and Indonesia.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £22,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
