Responsibilities Waiter/ waitress:
Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar.
Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
Anticipated and fulfilled guests' needs, providing recommendations and answering questions about menu items.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
Collaborate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow.
Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback... professionally and tactfully, striving to resolve issues to their satisfaction.
Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest experience and maximize revenue.
Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently.
Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards.
Assist with opening and closing duties as required.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a waiter/waitress and cocktail bartender in a high-volume restaurant or hospit setting.
Strong knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including wine, beer and cocktail selections.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with guests ant colleagues.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering impeccable service.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
