Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef de Partie/Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our meals are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation. This position requires a commitment to food safety and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Assist in the preparation of ingredients, ensuring freshness and... quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
• Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe cooking environment.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management.
• Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety practices.

Requirements
• Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred.
• Must have Level 2 Food and Safety certificate.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
• Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork mentality.

Pay: £12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
