Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Dosa Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in preparing traditional South Indian dishes, particularly dosas, and will play a pivotal role in delivering a high-quality and authentic dining experience for our... customers.
Key Responsibilities:
•Prepare a variety of dosas, including masala dosa, plain dosa, and other regional variations.
•Manage dosa batter preparation, fermentation, and consistency to ensure optimal quality.
•Prepare accompaniments such as coconut chutney, tomato chutney, and sambar.
•Handle kitchen equipment and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
•Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards, including allergen awareness.
•Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, maintaining quality and speed during peak hours.
•Assist with menu innovation by introducing new dosa variations or South Indian specialties.
•Interact with customers as needed to ensure a positive dining experience.
Requirements:
•Proven experience as a dosa chef or in South Indian cuisine, with specific expertise in dosa preparation.
•Knowledge of traditional South Indian spices, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
•Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
•Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
