Company Overview:We are IKAWA, we design and manufacture transformational, innovative systems to improve the quality and appreciation of coffee globally. Right now, that means four revolutionary coffee roasters for the professional and home user.
Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the assembly, calibration, testing, and packing of sample roasters according to standard operating procedures (SoP) and work instructions. This role is crucial to ensuring that our products meet high-quality standards before they are delivered to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assemble sample roasters following SoP and detailed work instructions.
• Calibrate and test roasters to ensure they meet product specifications and performance standards.
• Perform thorough quality checks during and after... assembly.
• Pack finished roasters securely and prepare them for shipping.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with the production and quality teams to identify and troubleshoot issues during assembly and testing processes.
• Keep accurate records of production tasks and test results.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on product quality.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or production line environment.
• Familiarity with electronic components and systems (desired but not required).
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and diagrams accurately.
• Basic understanding of calibration and testing procedures (preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided).
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience of familiarity with inventory management systems i.e Cin7, Oracle, Katana (desired but not required; training will be provided)
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to safely lift heavy boxes and equipment.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on, manual labour role that requires standing for extended periods.
