Job Descrption
Role and Responsibilities:
• Conducts Electrical site surveys to obtain existing site condition data for review on new proposed site project requirements.
• Conduct electrical designs and check electrical designs.
• Prepares cable sizing & electrical distribution board schedules.
• Generate lighting design using Manufacturers lighting software.
• Collates the purchase bill of material requirements of electrical materials for installation projects.
• Support project coordination teams to ensure project files and O&M manuals are complete with the correct Electrical sign-off documentation.
• Provide electrical technical support to internal and external project teams, and provide reports where required.
• Ensure Ryan Jayberg electrical drawings are correct for issue.
• Check electrical test certification.
• Design control panels and consult with control panel manufacturers.
• Consult with electrical wholesalers for best prices/competitive tender in conjunction with... the RJL Electrical Design Manager.
• Check electrical sub-contract quotations against the schedule of rates.
• Assist with the compilation of electrical tenders when required.
• Conduct site audits and site quality inspections.
• Conduct the Company PAT testing.
• Comply with the Company’s Health & Safety, Environmental and ISO processes and procedures.
• Promote the Company’s image in a professional manner.
Key Skills:
The role is challenging due to the diversity of the client’s specifications. The suitable applicant must be a team player, methodical, highly motivated, have excellent communication skills, and be adaptable and goal-oriented.
The applicant must possess a good standard of IT skills with knowledge on Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook – full training will be offered to the right candidate.
18th edition regulations inspection and testing (Training to be provided if candidate does not have qualification).
ECS/CSCS Card (Training to be provided if candidate does not possess/in date).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From £25,000.00 per year
