Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Midwife to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to expectant mothers throughout their pregnancy, labour, and postpartum period. This role requires a strong ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families, as well as collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for mothers and infants.
Duties
• Provide prenatal care, including regular check-ups and screenings to monitor the health of both mother and baby.
• Assist in the delivery of babies, ensuring a safe and supportive environment during labour.
• Offer postpartum care, providing guidance on infant care, breastfeeding support, and maternal health recovery.
• Educate expectant parents on childbirth options, pain management techniques, and newborn care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with... obstetricians, paediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Stay updated on advancements in midwifery practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
• Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with a Midwifery degree or equivalent certification is essential.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with patients and their families.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple patients and responsibilities efficiently.
• Familiarity with IT systems for maintaining patient records is advantageous.
• A compassionate approach with a commitment to providing high-quality care to mothers and newborns.
• Previous experience in midwifery or maternal health is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level positions.

Pay: £44,925.00-£47,211.00 per year
